Children’s Ministry (ages 4 to 10)
Calvary Kids is not the church, but rather a ministry of our church devoted to reaching the next generation with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Our aim is to provide faithful, age-appropriate Bible teaching that points children to Christ, calls them to saving faith, and equips them to live with wisdom and conviction in a world filled with subtle yet destructive ways of thinking and living.
What are the children learning?
Children participating in Calvary Kids will remain in the service during the opening portion so they can join the gathered church in worship and observe how Christians worship the Lord together. They will be dismissed after the Pastoral Prayer.
We are currently using the Growing in God’s Word Curriculum, each week during the sermon portion of our main service for children ages 4 to 10. This time is devoted to teaching children the life-changing message of God's Word. Rooted in historic Reformed truth and designed for children in kindergarten through fifth grade, this fun curriculum helps young hearts to love God’s Word, understand who God is and what He has done for us through Jesus Christ.
During our main 10AM service, children are welcome to remain with their parents in the serve or to attend the children’s classes.
Nursery (ages 0–3)
Childcare is available for babies through age 3 from 10:15 a.m. until the end of the worship service. Care is provided by trained, background-checked volunteers who are committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and enjoyable environment for your children.
All children must be signed in before entering childcare. Please be sure to inform our volunteers of any food allergies, sensitivities, or special instructions.
A Nursing Mom’s Room is also available for mothers who need a quiet and comfortable space during the service.
Parents are always welcome in our children's area. We understand that leaving your child in the care of others can be difficult, which is why we encourage parents to visit our children's ministry and get to know our volunteers.
We believe that building relationships with our families is essential to creating a strong and supportive community.
